I am thinking of how to introduce myself and I can think of no better way than to say that I am a son of the One True King, a child of God through our Lord Jesus Christ. God has blessed me over and over again in my life and one of the greatest blessings was the direction, and now the privilege, to serve as a pastor to people who are on a journey with the Lord, whether they recognize it, cherish it, or not and to remind them of who they are as a child of God. It is humbling to be able to come alongside others and be a living a reminder of our Savior in their lives. I can only pray that God would continue to make me worthy and able for such a task as this and I am so thankful that He has brought me to Rochester and to Redeemer with some pretty awesome sons and daughters of the King and a wonderful community.

Another blessing from God is my family. My lovely and beautiful wife, Christine, and three children: Josiah, Juliette, and Serena. The joy of knowing who we are as children of the Lord is definitely our strength. We seek to live each day as imperfect and sinful people who bask in and share the forgiveness of Jesus Christ with each other and the joy-filed hope of a glorious eternity together through His resurrection. This is our dance and song and we love to break out in dance parties, adventure outside to enjoy God's creation, wrestle in the living room (shhh, don't tell Christine), or cuddle to read some spectacular books. Personally, I would never turn down a good cup of coffee, a good conversation, or the opportunity to play a sport, especially if it involves the chance to get to know you. If you pressed me, I would admit that soccer is my favorite and I still enjoy playing on a team. By the way, we love Rochester and I will certainly cheer for all the Minnesota teams, but I will forever be a Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. Here I stand, I can do no other.

I would love to get to know you, so please feel free to stop in and talk to me anytime. As we journey this life together, I am excited to see how God is working in and through each of us as He spreads his message of grace and love in Jesus Christ. I am confident that "no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love Him." (1 Corinthians 2:9) As you come to know and love Him, or come to know and love Him deeper, I pray that you know first and foremost how wide and deep is His love for you in Jesus! (Ephesians 3:18).
