Attention Men and Women of Redeemer age 50 and wiser—this group is just for you!
Plan to gather with us on October 11, 2023 at 11:30 am in Redeemer’s South Fellowship Hall. A box lunch from HyVee will be served for a fee of $10.00 which must be paid in advance. The lunch will consist of a wrap (beef, ham, turkey or veggie), chips, fruit, and a cookie/bar. Water and lemonade will be available, and coffee and pop are 50 cents. There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center to make your selection.
All are welcome even if you prefer not to eat lunch however, we would still like you to sign up at the Welcome Center so we know the number of people attending.
Our first speaker is James Swenson from Wilmar, MN. He was born with four congenital heart defects. These defects ultimately prevented him from participating in any physical education classes from second grade on. He ultimately went on to have a heart transplant at the University of Minnesota. He will share with us this heart health journey as well as his faith journey in hopes that it will instill a renewed spirit of one’s Christian faith.
