Michael Harvey

Michael Harvey is the Director of Faith Formation at Redeemer Lutheran Church. He grew up in a variety of locations from Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and Tennessee. He graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul. His work experience has brought him to even more places including Fairbanks, Alaska, and Vancouver, Washington. However, he’s spent the most time in Rochester, moving here in 2001, the same year he started at Redeemer. His favorite aspect about his job is joining Jesus on His mission in Rochester. He loves seeing faith in Jesus shared in families, between generations, and with the community. His favorite part about Redeemer is the Family of Believers that are in God’s Word and prays for each other and the world around them. He states that “they are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and serve the community in real, tangible ways.”
